(\u2026) El teatre s\u2019empla\u00e7ar\u00e0 el m\u00e9s a prop possible, en l\u2019ombra veritablement tutelar, del lloc on es guarden els morts. (\u2026) No parlo d\u2019un cementiri mort, sin\u00f3 viu; \u00e9s a dir, no d\u2019aquell d\u2019on nom\u00e9s queden unes esteles. (\u2026) L\u2019elecci\u00f3 ser\u00e0 tan \u00fatil pel cementiri com pel teatre&#8221;.<\/p>\n<cite><strong>JEAN GENET, \u00abL\u2019estrany mot d\u2019\u2026\u00bb<\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-text-align-right is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;En qu\u00e8 es converteix un pa\u00eds, ens preguntem; en qu\u00e8 es converteix una cultura, en qu\u00e8 es converteix una llengua quan es pot parlar de \u00abdelicte d\u2019hospitalitat\u00bb, quan l\u2019hospitalitat pot esdevenir, a ulls de la llei i dels seus representants, un crim?&#8221;<\/p>\n<cite><strong>JACQUES DERRIDA, \u00abMancaments del dret a la just\u00edcia.\u00a0 (Per\u00f2 qu\u00e8 els manca, als &#8221;sense-papers&#8221;?)<\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Necropolis <\/em>\u00e9s el darrer projecte esc\u00e8nic d\u2019Arkadi Zaides, core\u00f2graf israeli\u00e0, d\u2019origen bielor\u00fas, i tamb\u00e9 la primera ocasi\u00f3 de veure la seva obra a Catalunya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Com ha expressat en diverses entrevistes, al llarg dels seus vint anys de traject\u00f2ria, Zaides s\u2019ha anat allunyant progressivament de la creaci\u00f3 coreogr\u00e0fica convencional, i ha comen\u00e7at a desenvolupar una \u00abcoreografia expandida\u00bb amb la qual reflexiona sobre conflictes geopol\u00edtics actuals. <em>Necropolis<\/em>, igual que alguns dels seus projectes anteriors com <em>Archive <\/em>(estrenat al Festival d\u2019Aviny\u00f3 2014), sorgeix de la investigaci\u00f3 de l\u2019Institut des Croisements que dirigeix el mateix core\u00f2graf i que aplega antrop\u00f2legs, experts en drets humans, cartografia, arts vives i disseny de sistemes d\u2019informaci\u00f3. Les seves darreres peces resulten de llargs processos d\u2019investigaci\u00f3 i es troben a mig cam\u00ed entre l\u2019activisme, l\u2019art i la ci\u00e8ncia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si peces com <em>Quiet <\/em>(2010) o <em>Land-research <\/em>(2012) reflexionaven sobre el conflicte pol\u00edtic entre Israel i Palestina; des de 2014, Zaides ha volgut posar al centre de la seva recerca i de la seva creaci\u00f3, la crisi migrat\u00f2ria a les fronteres europees \u2014o, m\u00e9s ben dit, \u00abla crisi <em>pels <\/em>refugiats\u00bb, com solen referir-s\u2019hi des de l\u2019Institut des Croisements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La g\u00e8nesi de <em>Necropolis<\/em> es remunta a la recerca d\u2019Arkadi Zaides i el seu equip al voltant del concepte de \u00abdesaparici\u00f3 for\u00e7ada\u00bb, una realitat ben estesa que es refereix a les persones que, per raons pol\u00edtiques, desapareixen, s\u00f3n eliminades \u2014o, com se sol dir, s\u00f3n esborrades del mapa\u2014, juntament amb els seus cossos i les seves hist\u00f2ries. Zaides va iniciar el projecte tot reflexionant i comparant el tractament de les persones desaparegudes als conflictes europeus del segle XX amb aquell que reben els refugiats que moren a les nostres fronteres. <em>Necropolis <\/em>tamb\u00e9 pren com a punt de partida i material esc\u00e8nic un llistat elaborat per UNITED for Intercultural Action, una xarxa d\u2019organitzacions antiracistes, que recompta les morts d\u2019aquells que tractaven d\u2019arribar a Europa. L\u2019\u00faltima xifra (de juny del 2022) \u00e9s de 48.647 persones desaparegudes \u2014una petita part del total real, at\u00e8s que nom\u00e9s es registren els casos denunciats a l\u2019organitzaci\u00f3. La gran majoria de persones d\u2019aquest llistat, com la resta de desapareguts an\u00f2nims, s\u00f3n enterrades sense (una bona) identificaci\u00f3. Moren sense nom, sense edat, sense or\u00edgens, sense g\u00e8nere. Moren, en realitat, sense drets. Sense el dret d\u2019acc\u00e9s i d\u2019una altra vida a Europa; per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9, fins i tot, sense el dret de morir-hi dignament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Des de fa una d\u00e8cada, Arkadi Zaides ha desenvolupat diversos dispositius del que el te\u00f2ric Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Pouillaude anomena \u00abcoreografia documental\u00bb \u2013\u00e9s a dir, una creaci\u00f3 on la dansa dialoga amb diversos documents, evid\u00e8ncies i materials al voltant, en aquest cas, dels cossos i els moviments a les fronteres europees. Aquest nou g\u00e8nere era ben expl\u00edcit a <em>Archive <\/em>(2014) on la coreografia sorgia de la relaci\u00f3 del cos d\u2019Arkadi Zaides amb una s\u00e8rie d\u2019imatges del conflicte israeli\u00e0-palest\u00ed que es projectaven a escena. La pr\u00e0ctica documental de <em>Necropolis<\/em>, m\u00e9s propera a la postdansa \u2014com confessa el seu creador\u2014, cedeix la centralitat del cos dansant a la pregunta d\u2019on es troben els cossos silenciats i desapareguts dels refugiats. La discussi\u00f3 d\u2019aquesta realitat avui no t\u00e9 cabuda en l\u2019esfera p\u00fablica europea \u2014est\u00e0 completament fora de lloc. \u00c9s invisible al m\u00f3n. Per aix\u00f2, Zaides decideix tornar a posar el conflicte al mapa, utilitzant \u2014literalment\u2014 la cartografia per denunciar aquesta realitat i fer-la visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El mapa \u2014ho sabem\u2014 \u00e9s un dels instruments de poder decisiu de la modernitat i del colonialisme occidental. \u00ab<em>Cuius carta, eius regio<\/em>. Qui dibuixa el mapa actua com si culturalment, hist\u00f2ricament, jur\u00eddicament i pol\u00edticament tingu\u00e9s ra\u00f3\u00bb, sentencia el fil\u00f2sof Peter Sloterdijk. Els mapes tradicionals ens indiquen on som i les seves versions contempor\u00e0nies (Apple Maps, Google Earth, etc.) ens permeten moure\u2019ns d\u2019un pa\u00eds a un altre amb la facilitat d\u2019uns quants clics. Ens mostren innocentment un m\u00f3n accessible i sense fronteres, molt diferent de la realitat d\u2019aquells que no tenen el privilegi de la llibertat de moviment. El gest de <em>cartografia radical<\/em> de <em>Necropolis <\/em>criticar\u00e0 aquest \u00fas del mapa, de les fronteres i dels seus relats, substituint-ho per una mir\u00edada de preguntes i&nbsp; de q\u00fcestionaments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00f3n totes les vides i totes les morts igual de plorables, igual de reconegudes? A <em>Vida prec\u00e0ria <\/em>(2004) Judith Butler respon que, desgraciadament, no ho s\u00f3n. Segons els marcs culturals i pol\u00edtics algunes v\u00edctimes \u00abtenen nom i rostre, hist\u00f2ria personal, fam\u00edlia, <em>hobbies<\/em>, raons per viure\u00bb; d\u2019altres, els no ning\u00fa \u2014com palestins o refugiats\u2014, moren de manera invisible. <em>Necropolis <\/em>d\u2019Arkadi Zaides sembla n\u00e9ixer d\u2019una pregunta provinent del text de Butler: \u00abDespr\u00e9s de tot, si alg\u00fa desapareix, i aquesta persona no \u00e9s ning\u00fa, llavors qu\u00e8 i on desapareix, i com pot tenir lloc el dol?\u00bb. <em>Necropolis <\/em>crea un ritual de dol perqu\u00e8 all\u00f2 que a ulls del m\u00f3n no ha tingut lloc \u2014la mort de milers de persones refugiades\u2014, tingui un espai i un temps. A trav\u00e9s de la coreografia documental i utilitzant eines de la criminal\u00edstica, l\u2019equip d\u2019Arkadi Zaides posa en marxa un proc\u00e9s \u00abcontraforense\u00bb \u2014\u00e9s a dir, contraresta les defici\u00e8ncies forenses a qu\u00e8 han sotm\u00e8s les v\u00edctimes del llistat de UNITED for Intercultural Action. <em>Necropolis <\/em>els restaura el dret de morir dignament, tot geolocalitzant els cementiris on descansen i tractant d\u2019aconseguir informacions que permetin una futura identificaci\u00f3, o fins i tot, la repatriaci\u00f3 dels seus cossos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amb el seu projecte,Arkadi Zaides radicalitza i actualitza la prescripci\u00f3 de Jean Genet que els teatres nom\u00e9s puguin existir avui sota l\u2019ombra dels cementiris i dels morts. La seva pe\u00e7a no nom\u00e9s es dona a prop dels morts i no nom\u00e9s ens els apropa.
