Apropant i allunyant el focus, i amb els dits ben col\u00b7locats a la taula de mescles, Vienne escenifica una experi\u00e8ncia semi-cinem\u00e0tica sobre una base de m\u00fasica techno i trance dels anys noranta.<\/p>\n<p>Els ballarins mai ballen al ritme del seu propi cos. Com en un ritual, cada escena t\u00e9 un moment a ralent\u00ed, que a vegades s&#8217;amaga en el <em>beat <\/em>del techno per\u00f2 que m\u00e9s sovint el defuig, amb moviments a c\u00e0mera lenta o mitjan\u00e7ant instant\u00e0nies produ\u00efdes r\u00edtmicament.<\/p>\n<p>La interacci\u00f3 entre el so (Peter Rehberg, Stephen O&#8217;Malley) i la coreografia crea un cert atordiment que pertorba la percepci\u00f3 i recorda els efectes d&#8217;una nit de festa: les orelles que xiulen, el caminar err\u00e0tic, la percepci\u00f3 en diferit. Un atac de p\u00e0nic aqu\u00ed, alg\u00fa que ha perdut una bossa all\u00e0, el teu xicot que de cop s\u2019est\u00e0 morrejant amb un altre.<\/p>\n<p>Vienne mant\u00e9 les interaccions entre els ballarins en el terreny obert de l\u2019ambig\u00fcitat. Una baralla i una c\u00e0lida abra\u00e7ada comencen amb el mateix gest d\u2019aixecar els bra\u00e7os a c\u00e0mera lenta. Al mateix temps, la divisi\u00f3 de rols \u00e9s inequ\u00edvoca. Llops solitaris i animals de festa; el mascle alfa que insulta el noi gai i la noia ximpleta que s\u2019entrebanca, es treu de sobre el \u2018pagafantes\u2019 que l\u2019ajuda a aixecar-se i torna a buscar-lo un instant m\u00e9s tard: la colla que veiem a l&#8217;escenari est\u00e0 formada per noies i nois ben normals i corrents.<\/p>\n<p>Interminables petits gestos i esbatussades apunten a un corrent subterrani d\u2019embolics emocionals, tots ells empesos pel desig. Desig per alg\u00fa o alguna cosa, de significar quelcom, de ser alg\u00fa &#8211; i amb ell la por de no ser ning\u00fa o de no ser prou. Tot s\u2019apunta, s&#8217;indica, per\u00f2 no es fa mai expl\u00edcit ni s&#8217;elabora de manera dram\u00e0tica. Ho veiem passar com un foc de torba, a escena en resta tan sols el fum. Com a espectador\/a pots jugar a les endevinalles, a llegir els gestos i completar els suggeriments amb hist\u00f2ries pr\u00f2pies, pors o desitjos, records, associacions i (pre)judicis.<\/p>\n<p>La terra que cobreix el gran escenari recorda l\u2019espai d\u2019acc\u00e9s a una festa de platja o a un festival en un pol\u00edgon industrial lluny\u00e0. Tamb\u00e9 insinua una refer\u00e8ncia a l&#8217;escenari del fam\u00f3s <em>Sacre <\/em>de Pina Bausch. <em>Crowd<\/em> obre amb una vista sobre aquest paisatge, terra deserta i de ning\u00fa, fora de la comunitat, on la gent \u00e9s lliure i on tenen lloc els rituals.<\/p>\n<p>Ara b\u00e9, aquest terreny sembrat pel ritual est\u00e0 tamb\u00e9 sembrat d&#8217;escombraries. La brut\u00edcia l\u2019estira cap al present, per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 li dona fe de vida. Fa palpable la transgressi\u00f3 necess\u00e0ria, el pathos i l&#8217;\u00e8xtasi, la decad\u00e8ncia i la porqueria que sovint s&#8217;ometen en representacions m\u00e9s id\u00edl\u00b7liques de llocs com aquest. Les jaquetes, bosses i samarretes que es van perdent mentre dura la festa desapareixen enmig de la brossa. Tamb\u00e9 els \u2018fiesteros\u2019 hi descendeixen, de tal manera que a mitja funci\u00f3 l&#8217;escenari es troba convertit en un immens i colorit abocador que respira suaument durant uns minuts de silenci.<\/p>\n<p><em>Crowd <\/em>tamb\u00e9 connecta amb tradicions art\u00edstiques en altres aspectes. La llum (Patrick Riou) produeix un clarobscur lent i transformador. El batec de contrallums de la <em>technoparty<\/em> contribueix aqu\u00ed a un lent joc escult\u00f2ric fet de llum i foscor. Guia la mirada. Modela els moviments del grup en el seu conjunt, per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 destaca els innombrables moments \u00edntims.<\/p>\n<p>A m\u00e9s de a l&#8217;heroisme rom\u00e0ntic de Delacroix o al realisme \u00edntim de Rembrandt, <em>Crowd <\/em>tamb\u00e9 recorda a un gegantesc i vibrant fresc del Renaixement. Pintat amb rapidesa i precisi\u00f3, fet de figures \u00e0gils i escenes fluides que perduren a la retina. Capa sobre capa, fr\u00e0gil i amb una claredat aclaparadora en la composici\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Si a <em>Crowd<\/em> hi falta alguna cosa \u00e9s cruesa directa, viol\u00e8ncia, sexe, qualsevol tipus de <em>jouissance<\/em>. La representaci\u00f3 acumula meticulosament tots els ingredients d\u2019un <em>tanztheater<\/em> contemporani, per\u00f2 en termes d\u2019implicaci\u00f3 sensacional posa els espectadors a pa i aigua. El realisme de Vienne, compost a partir de registres contemporanis sint\u00e8tics i digitals \u2013 reciclatge i remescla inclosos \u2013 imposa una certa dist\u00e0ncia.<\/p>\n<p><em>Crowd<\/em> no deixa de ser un espectacle, malgrat la fant\u00e0stica i vibrant barreja d&#8217;imatges i sons. Convida l&#8217;espectador\/a a fer el seu propi proc\u00e9s. La m\u00fasica \u00e9s estimulant i sumada al torrent palpitant d&#8217;imatges humanes s\u2019emporta l\u2019audi\u00e8ncia &#8211; nom\u00e9s fins a cert punt. Perqu\u00e8 tamb\u00e9 s&#8217;ha creat deliberadament un espai per mantenir intacta la subtil escenificaci\u00f3 dels costats ombr\u00edvols del joc social. En el cas que s\u2019hagu\u00e9s constru\u00eft una il\u00b7lusi\u00f3 excessivament triomfal o grotesca de la mateixa festa ext\u00e0tica, aquesta subtilesa s\u2019hagu\u00e9s escolat r\u00e0pidament per l\u2019aig\u00fcera.<\/p>\n<p><em>Crowd<\/em> no \u00e9s un <em>freakshow<\/em>, no hi mor ning\u00fa i ning\u00fa es treu la roba del tot. Tal com va fer Laurent Ch\u00e9touane en el seu <em>Sacr\u00e9 Sacre du Printemps<\/em>, Vienne tamb\u00e9 es nega al sacrifici. Tothom sobreviu la vetllada, aqu\u00ed i all\u00e0 potser amb alguna contusi\u00f3, una samarreta estripada o una esgarrapada a l&#8217;\u00e0nima. Vienne no connecta el plaer ext\u00e0tic i transcendent de la <em>rave<\/em> a una moral modernista, determinista i fidel a l\u2019impacte directe del \u2018<em>shock and awe\u2019<\/em>, a la divisi\u00f3 entre b\u00e9 i mal, vencedors i ven\u00e7uts.
